Kraft’s Facebook page causing giant comment fight
On Monday, Kraft posted the above picture to its Facebook page as part of its 100-year anniversary celebrations for the Oreo (each day they’re posting a new “current event” cookie). Mixed with the slogan “Proudly support love!,” the cookie picture created a firestorm of comments.
Although a large portion of the comments were positive, there were hundreds, if not thousands, who were very angry that Kraft would take this particular political position.
On the negative side, comments ranged from “Guess what I’m boycotting now? Don’t get political Oreo.” to “Being gay is totally wrong And should be a crime.”
Personally, I applaud Kraft and Oreo for doing this. I hope the backlash doesn’t stop them from continuing to show their support in the future.
IMMA GO HAVE ME AN OREO NOW.
Way to be awesome, Kraft!
